The purpose of Zeta Tau Alpha is the intensifying of friendship, the fostering of a spirit of love, the creating of such sentiments, the performing of such deeds, and the molding of such opinions as will be conducive to the building up of a purer and nobler womanhood in the world.

Our national philanthropy is breast cancer education and awareness. We are sponsors of the Survivor Recognition Program for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure events which are held nationwide, as well as, have partnerships with Yoplait Yogurt, and the National Football League.

The ladies of the Long Beach Alumnae Chapter are a fun group of Zetas ranging in age from 25 - ? (a lady never reveals her true age). We meet a least once monthly to celebrate sisterhood and we provide advisory and monetary support to the Theta Phi Chapter, at Cal State Fullerton, Fullerton.
