Fifteen members of the Long
Beach Alumnae Chapter were part of the San Diego
Chargers NFL pre-game actives on October 24th.
Our members were on the field, prior to game
time, holding a pink ribbon to remind NFL fans to
Think Pink® and to pass out pink ribbons and breast
cancer reminder stickers. |

Community service
Long Beach members were at the Block of Orange on
October 23rd passing out pink ribbons and breast
cancer materials to shoppers at this year Rock N
Road. KIIS FM, as well as many high schools, etc.
took part helping to create awareness of early
detection of breast cancer and teen related alcohol issues. |

RACE FOR THE CURE 2010 |

Both alumnae and
collegiates were out in full force for the 2010 Race
for the Cure! Our volunteers passed out survivor
goody bags, along with pink t-shirts and hats. Of
course, ZTA also provided the "In memory of" and in
"Honor of" back card signs. Theta Phi President
Brittney Myers was asked to speak on behalf of ZTA
and made ZTA's across the country proud. Way to go
Brittney! |
